In Istanbul gibt es an Feiertagen kostenlose Fahrten mit der U-Bahn.

In Istanbul, der Hauptstadt der Türkei, werden während der Feiertage kostenlose Fahrten mit der U-Bahn von der Station Gayrettepe zum Istanbul Airport angeboten.

Dies wurde von der Stadtverwaltung bekannt gegeben. Kostenlose Fahrten sind von 00:00 Uhr am 28. Juni bis 00:00 Uhr am 1. Juli möglich. Diese Geste des Istanbuler Stadtrats erfolgt zu Ehren des Kurban Bayram-Festes, das in dieser Woche gefeiert wird. Zusätzlich gibt es in Istanbul an den genannten Tagen eine kostenlose Durchfahrt auf mautpflichtigen Brücken und Autobahnen, die unter der Zuständigkeit der Generaldirektion für Straßen (KGM) stehen.
